Is Ian going for a record number of fake questions that most of us are blocked from addressing?

He won't be able to answer this, unless he cheats with an alias, but this whole website is a charade anyway.

The biggest problem with using YA for information is that no one has to understand a subject, and in the case of certain subjects, like global warming, no one has to be honest to answer a question or to choose BA. Give a baboon a mouse and he will be able to vote for BA.

And regarding Ian, in spite of his whining, he is the one who is cheating. In order to keep him honest (shaking my head out of disbelief that I used the word "honest" with a denialist) I need to have access to the only official record of his bet. He tried to post an unofficial version of the bet in his answer to my question, but if I am blocked from the original question, how can I check if the unoffical version of the bet is authentic or doctored. And as fun as it it to play Wac-A-Mole by giving dumb answers TD, in the case of his unofficial answer, I have to admit that the Hyde feature of TDs actually served a purpose with Ian's unofficial copy of the bet.

And, if he has any interest in playing fair, all he has to do is unblock me.

He also won't allow me to see his question addressed to Big Gryph explaining why he hasn't lost the bet. If he won't allow me to see it, his explantion can't be very good. But I guess that he only wants to impress the likes of Sagebrush and (said with a big booming voice) ZORGON-gon-gon-gon-gon.

That was an interesting article. I notice that there was something positive said about the Physics section and since I visit Astronomy and Space a lot I can vouch for generally good science there as well.

I thought the final sentence said a lot: "The lesson Yahoo! Answers teaches is that, for millions of people on the Web, it's less important to get a good answer than to get someone to listen to your question in the first place."

So there, consider yourself listened to.
