Global warming is but a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;deforestation, desertification, soil and water contamination ,irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources , air pollution,Non sustainable Agriculture, over pumping carbon aquifers

all concepts which are definitely not part of the Natural Processes of the Natural world

Global warming is a natural phase of Earth, caused by some Solar Activities by Sun. We human don't have to bother about it. Some of the environmentalist says that this is because of the CO2 we are emitting into the environment, but the reality is that we are just contributing towards 1% to 10% of actual global warming.

If the actual cause of Global Warming is CO2 emitted by the humans then why Global Warming occures on other planets. Just Google for "Global Warming on other planets" and see the results, there are no humans on other planets.

Having too little CO2 in the environment will cause for the plants to die more early, more over it also cools down the temperature on earth.

Having too much CO2 (obiviously, not caused by humans. Mostly generated in the Sea/Oceans) will lead to Green House effect and will lead in increasing the temperature on Earth.

So, the best is to plant more trees so that there would be a balance for the consumption of CO2 on the planet.

I personally think that instead of thinking on this baseless issue try to think on what if Nuclear War broke out in the world, it will destroy Earth more rapidly.

So, next time whenever somebody says you about global warming, just ignore it.

Global warming has and will be real. The question is how much is man made and how much is natural.

The earth has been warmer and sea levels higher in our relative recent past. Both during a midevil warm period and a Roman warm period. The IPCC temperature chart in 1990 showed the MWP as warmer than today. Since it has been deamed regional. The real answer is no-one can or will say how much is man and how much is natural. We are coming out of a little ice age.

With everything else held equal dumping all the CO2 in the world will only increase temp. .5 degC. The global warming folks say that the small increase will cause more of the most powerful greenhouse gas water vapor to form in the atmospher. That will increase the temperature and cause more water vapor, that increase more water vapor and so on and so on. The fact that the earth has warmed is a fact, and at this point has been a good thing. The models handling of positive feedback of water vapor I have to say is fiction. The models in my oppinion should go up like a frown, not a smile.

Since the IPCC report came out ,culminating 20 years of research, a consensus of scientists agree that human's use of fossil fuels has created the problem of global climate change due to global warming. Unfortunately, the oil companies are preying on some peoples ignorance of science to push an agenda of doubt. Here is a link to a site that shows ALL the false claims being made by the 'deniers',and how they're all just BS!

GW is a proven fact with all but absolute consensus within the peered reviewed scientific community.

There are laymen and others however, who know even less about the subject, that deny and or believe differently. This however does not change reality. No matter how much many have wanted to believe the world is flat or that evolution does not exist it still does not change the fact, even though some people still today still try to deny such truths.

Another case in example are there are those who truly believe we live in the matrix. Does their belief somehow alter reality? No, only their subjective reality is altered; But the karmic consequences remain very much the same.

It is said that humans migrated from Asia across the Bering Sea via a land bridge.

There is no land bridge today. So where did the water come from? The answer is melting glaciers.

From the obvious data that glaciers have significantly retreated during the pst few thousand years, global warming is a fact.

The fiction is that we as humans have any influence on the global warming.

Global warming and cooling trends are 'nature driven' events which is completely out of man's capability to either control, or change.

The fact is that we are currently lucky enough to be experiencing some relatively mild conditions 'globally' should help to 'speak for itself'.

The current evidence seems to suggest that over the last decade, global temperatures have decreased slightly, while the use of fossil fuels is still increasing.

No proper scientist can show a valid experiment to prove that

a so-called 'greenhouse gas' exists.

The facts are not required for people to formulate their own opinion however.

If people could learn some basic science, they would soon be able to realize how much damage this belief in AGW is, and how they are being exploited.

Global waring is happening, thats a definate fact... Whether it's mans influence that is making it happen is what's the uncertainty at this time..

If I was going to place a bet, with the information we have at this point I would say YES, however I have only a 50% chance of being correct, the same as everyone else....

That this question can even be asked is amazing. Global warming is a fact and the truth is its mans fault. All the evidence points towards this. Never in the history of earth has global temperatures soared to these heights . (Do yourself ((AND THE WORLD)) a favour and rent An Inconvenient Truth...

It's a fact. Here's a website to learn more about it. http://science.nationalgeographic.com/science/environment/global-warming/gw-real.html

You can help stop it by doing lots of things. Here's a website of how you can make a difference!!

In matters of science, I tend to beleive scientists.

Scientists (at least those not in the direct employ of energy companies) are saying that AGW is real, and is important. So, I'm going to beleive them.

Fiction. Media and political hype is why it's in the news.

i think it is a fact, and i feel it is a real problem, i know people say there is nothing we can do it fix the damage we have done but i like to think that when it gets too bad, it will unite every country and they will work together and actually be able to fix the problem then sadly most likely will go back to hating each other.

It's happening. But not because of humans like some people have been deceived to believe. it is a part of the earth's natural cycles. The idea that humans are causing it is the money hoax.

well, its a fact ! Obviously the seasons are either coming earlier than normal or later. Apparently we have 7 years to stop the bad consequences(fix the problem):( anyway it's a fact!

In June 2005, the U.S. National Academy of Sciences joined with the scientific academies of ten other countries in stating, “the scientific understanding of climate change is now sufficiently clear to justify nations taking prompt actions.”

"The Kyoto Protocol, aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from developed nations, came in force on Wednesday at 6am UTC. The treaty has been signed by 141 nations who together account for 55% of global carbon dioxide emissions." -- http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol_comes_into_effect

There's a helluva lot of brain power involved here. Who am I to argue? Actually, I've been researching the topic seriously for months now, and my conclusion, to paraphrase an astronaut whose name escapes me, "Washington, we have a problem."

In my book, when you have a problem, you step up and deal with it instead of shuffling it aside. Inaction is the absolute worse thing that can happen at this juncture.

Its a fact. You already feel the heat.

the earth gets warmer and warmer because of green house gasses that trap heat from the sun. Preventing heat escape from the earth. Global temp. rise because of that activity.
2008-05-01 13:59:30 UTC
The earth's climate is not static.

AGW(man's influence) is unproven hysteria used as a tool to further an agenda of power consolidation through indoctrination and propaganda.
