Well firstly, I'd implement one world-wide government, and a constitution, by which every country would be ruled. It'd be democratic, socialist and liberal, ensuring the human rights of all people in all nations.

I'd then ensure that every child is protected and happy, completely eradicating childhood depression, because those years are supposed to be our best years, and as it's essential that we train the youth of today, to run our world tomorrow.

I was wondering why my comment was being so negatively received, Jim's comment has cleared that up a bit for me. Basically it's a case of misreading what I said. I not once endorsed a "repressive socialist government", so why claim I did? Look at how I clearly state the words 'democratic' and 'liberal' before and after the term 'socialist'. That's because I was referring, not to communism, and not to "repressive socialism", but to 'democratic socialism'. I believe in state ownership of business and industry in order to benefit all the working people in the world. To ensure that people get good, honest pay, work reasonable hours, and most importantly are employed, which if successful, would wipe out poverty. With this, what's important to now note, is that all of this stays within a democratic system, where the government is elected in, and can be elected out. This is far from an extreme left oppressive regime that you'd have people believe I was talking about, and my emphasis on human rights should have indicated this. So rather than be "educated" by you, I'd like to instead educate you slightly, and advise you to read and understand what a person is saying before callously criticising their beliefs. No hard feelings though, it was a simple mistake.

I would like to educate people like Tom who believe that repressive socialist governments promote freedom. The next thing I would like to change is the idea that people can get something from nothing. There truly are no free lunches and borrowing from our grandchildren is immoral and I am not referring to only the national debt. In fact our debt is many times higher than $16 trillion.

I would make the atmosphere a little thicker so temperature extreams would not be big.

I would have the Sahara desert turn into a forest again.
