Why don't some people believe in Global Warming?

What has been claimed as "Global Warming" occurs like clockwork every 100,000 years according to every

available (accurate) climate record, as do opposing ice ages (Milankovich, Tschumi-Stauffer), . This natural climate cycle has been going on for several million years. The fact that we are currently emerging from an Ice age (they taught us that in grade school, remember?) indicates we are most assuredly on the temperature upswing. Q & A time for Liberals: (1) How many ways can we blame this on other political ideologies, and (2) how can we use that knowledge to make money to publicize our socialist agenda?

At the turn of the 20th century science firmly believed there was no way to get to the moon. It was accepted science, case closed. Whoops! Robert Goddard and Eric Von Braun said, NO WAY! Then solid rocket fuel was developed and rest is history. Schimmelman was a doctor who came up with germ theory and his fellow scientist laughed at him till he wound up having a nervous breakdown. This was because his learned colleagues all agreed he was crazy. There are many cases of this and AGW will just be another.

Science tells us that 250 million years ago CO2 levels were 5x higher and there was much more life on the Planet. The same scientists (evolutionists) are telling us now that CO2 is bad for the environment. Most all of the climate scientists come from Governmental bodies and Government education systems.



If you're a big believer of BIG Government, then jump on their "bandwagon", but if you really research the purpose of the IP CC (Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change) and where it started, you may become a real skeptic in their motivation for telling us that we are destroying the Planet.

Most people do not know much about the science, so the arguments become that it either is not occurring or that it is and the wordl is in serious trouble.



Neither of these are true. Warming is happening. Over the past 100 years, we have seen 0.8 degrees of warming. This is not going to destroy life on this planet, but we should look for ways to reduce our CO2 emission.

Warmer weather is NOT good for plants? Then all of your tree ring data is false. In fact, more than false, you need to use the inverse of your tree ring data. So I understand you correctly, you are saying that one of data sources that warmers use is entirely false? If you assumed that colder is better for trees on your tree ring data, would that mean we are in a period of cooling right now???



Your settled science is not settled. Your models predict from 0.5 to 10 degrees of warming over the next 100 years and 95% of them are currently overestimating. How you could call this settled, is a mystery to me.

Your friends are properly skeptical. Some people believe whatever the state tells them to believe. Instead of believing in something, educate yourself on the issue and make your best guess what the truth is. When you have people trying to get you to believe something, they are probably either from a nut cult, or have a political agenda, or both. It is a political issue. If you are a leftist, you are more likely to believe. It isn't about science. It is about pushing a leftist agenda.

First, please understand that the REAL debate is about "man-made" Global Warming --- not global warming. It's true there has been a little natural warming over the last several decades but it was NOT caused by human activity.



Man-made Global Warming advocates have no empirical science to back their claim. And their advocacy movement has been mired in scandal since its beginning. Here are some things you should know:



1) The Earth has been both much warmer and much colder in the distant past, long before the industrial age. Climate is indeed changing, but it has always changed and probably always will. These are obviously natural cycles that man does not and cannot control.



2) Global Warming alarmists have been caught in one lie after another. Huge scandals have been continuously revealed since the early 1980’s when the campaign began. Some of these are listed below:



3) Al Gore’s movie "An Inconvenient Truth" was full of bald faced lies. Like the Polar Bears were drowning, or the Ice Caps were melting, or the oceans were rising --- all lies. In fact a court of England ruled the movie was so flawed that it could not be shown to school children without a disclaimer.



4) The ClimateGate affair exposed the utter corruption of the Warmist community with their exposed emails speaking of how they intended to “hide the decline” and how to manipulate data and the peer-review process in their favor.



5) Then there is the fact that the globe isn’t even warming anymore and the small amount of warming experienced from the 1900’s to 2013 timeframe was negligible and well within the envelope of normal.



6) During this same period of marginal warming, scientists also noticed that other planets in our solar system were warming. What do these planets have in common ? --- the Sun.



7) Phil Jones, head of the Climatic Research Unit, the Guru and High Priest of Global Warming himself admitted there has been no statistically significant warming. If anyone on the planet would have been aware of statistically significant warming it would have been Phil Jones and he admitted there has been none. (Game Over)



8) Warmists like Al Gore refuse to engage in any formal debate on the issue. That’s because on the few occasions Warmist have debated openly, they lose, and they lose big. Lord Monckton utterly destroys them time and time again.



9) Al Gore and other Warmists have stated clearly that they want to make CO2 the object of a global tax. CO2 is the perfect object for their revenue purposes because you literally cannot live without making CO2, after all, we exhale it. And good science has revealed that no correlation exist to show CO2 drives warming. Demonizing CO2 is all about the tax dollars, and that’s all its about.

Your friends are uneducated. Their parents are likely uber conservatives who don't trust or believe in science. These are people who refer to people that study physics as "leftists".



For your own education you can refer to America's National Academies of Science (NAS). This is the association of only America's greatest scientists. People who have not advanced human knowledge in their fields are not eligible to be a member; it is only the greatest scientists in the nation. The NAS was created with the signature of Abraham Lincoln with the specific purpose of advising the nation in matter of complex science. You can ignore your ignorant friends. You may want to find some other friends who have a better appreciation of science. People with no critical thinking skills just want to argue stupidly and are not a lot of fun to be around anyhow.
